Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of the PoreIQ iPhone app and related services ("PoreIQ"). By creating an account or using PoreIQ you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use PoreIQ. Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies to the app.

1. Not medical advice

PoreIQ provides AI-generated estimates about the visible appearance of skin and general information about skincare ingredients. It is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease or condition. Results can be wrong, are affected by lighting, camera and image quality, and are not a substitute for advice from a dermatologist or other qualified professional. Do not ignore professional advice or delay seeking it because of something you saw in PoreIQ. Stop using any product that irritates your skin.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 13 years old to use PoreIQ. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use PoreIQ only with the permission of a parent or guardian. You are responsible for your account and for keeping your password secure.

3. Your content

You keep ownership of the photos and information you upload. You give us a limited license to store, process and display that content only to operate PoreIQ for you, including sending it to our AI provider as described in our Privacy Policy. Only upload photos of yourself or of people who have given you permission.

4. Acceptable use

Do not upload illegal, sexually explicit or harmful content, or photos of others without their consent.
Do not try to break, overload, reverse engineer or gain unauthorized access to the service.
Do not use PoreIQ to make decisions about other people.

5. The service

PoreIQ is currently free. We may add, change or remove features, and we may introduce paid features in the future; you will never be charged without choosing to buy something through the App Store. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.

6. Disclaimers

PoreIQ is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any skin reaction or decision you make based on PoreIQ results. Our total liability for any claim relating to PoreIQ is limited to US $50. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limitations, so they may not apply to you.

8. Ending your use

You can stop using PoreIQ and delete your account at any time in Profile → Account & Security → Delete account.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. If changes are material we will notify you in the app. Continuing to use PoreIQ after changes take effect means you accept them.
